This choreographic journey at the end of the night takes the form of a “death” struggle between shadows and lights. Gradually extirpating itself from the darkness which threatens to engulf it, the dancer’s body pulses superbly. And even if the combat is uneven and its becoming ephemeral, the beauty of the figures immerses us in a unique sensory experience. On a background of music mixing baroque and electro-experimental, Aurélien Dougé makes us hear the inner voice of a body threatened with finitude and which is transformed, as sublimated by grace.
